What to expect at
your ultrasound session

The day has finally come when you get to witness the precious moments of your royal baby right from the comfort of your own couch or our private intimate at-home studio. For the in-home service, we will arrive at your desired location (your home, parent’s home, grandparent’s home, venue. Possibilities are endless, all we need is an electrical outlet.) we will set up our equipment wherever you feel comfortable. We will connect our high-tech ultrasound machine via a long HDMI cable so that you and your loved ones can see the baby clearly right from your tv.

If you choose our at-home studio, you will walk through our double doors and into our private ultrasound room all ready for an intimate viewing of your little one. There is a limit of 5 people not including momma during each session. Refreshments will also be available.

Babies Rule Their Territory!

We block out an hour for each appointment slot for In-HOME sessions. This allows time for us to get situated and also allows decent amount of time to get the best possible images.

We cannot guarantee that your images will be similar to others you might have seen elsewhere. Ultrasound works best when the sound waves have fluid to travel through. A well-hydrated system of the mother will help to optimize the image. This is probably the most important factor.

There are many factors in which we would not be able to get good images ; mothers body habitus, inadequate amniotic fluid, placental position, fetal position, baby is shy and covering face and/or genital region.

We will try many techniques to let baby cooperate with us but sometimes they just dont want to be bothered.
After every effort to get good images and baby still doesnt cooperate, you have an option to schedule a re-scan within 2 weeks of original appointment for only $60 for a 15 minute scan in-home or a free 10 minute rescan in our studio.
